Welcome

Government and oil companies have neglected to support critical human development infrastructure in the Niger Delta, including the provision of the basic social services.
The area suffers from disproportionately high fatality rates from water-borne diseases, malnutrition, and poor sanitation among others. Only about 20% to 24% of rural communities and less than 60% of urban communities in the region have access to safe drinking water.
Rural Africa Water Development Project
The Rural Africa Water Development Project (RAWDP) is a Nigerian social enterprise that will lead marketing and manufacturing of Mor-sand filters, promising new technologies that utilize local resources to clean drinking water for the poor.
